A senseless act of violence has shaken the community of Extension 11, Meqheleng Ficksburg, following the brutal assault and subsequent death of a local resident. The victim, identified as Thebe Ntoi on his passport, but known to friends and family as Lesawana Lesawana, succumbed to his injuries after being attacked by a group of seven to eight individuals at his home yesterday night.
According to eyewitnesses, the assault occurred between 8 pm and 9 pm, with Lesawana’s wife present at the scene. The motives behind the attack are still unclear, but the community is in shock and demanding justice.
Lesawana, allegedly a resident of Kolonyama near Ha Ntate Mokose, was known to be a successful individual with a significant collection of cars. However, his identity remained unknown to the Ficksburg Police until his family could be notified, and his passport was retrieved. Currently, his body lies at the police mortuary, awaiting formal identification and release to his loved ones.
The community of Meqheleng Ficksburg is reeling from the news, with many calling for swift action to bring the perpetrators to justice. Efforts are underway to locate Lesawana’s family, and the police are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward.
